There are 16 major steps involved in the LED display module’s production procedure. At Yaham, quality is the most important issue, therefore quality controlling are included in every steps below.Â

Tin Blending is the first step in the LED display module production line.

Printing is the second step in the LED display module production line.

3. SMT is the third step in the LED display module production line. Â

Resister: Yageo(Taiwan)
Capacitor: Yageo(Taiwan)
IC: Macroblock(Taiwan), Toshiba(Japan) are the primary drive IC used in Yaham LED displays.

JUKI Automatic SMT machine from Japan

Chip: ( laser centering ) One multi-nozzle laser head ( 4 nozzles )

Re-flow soldering is the fourth step in the LED display module production line.
Materials:Â

Re-flow soldering machine:

LED inserting is the fifth step in the LED display module production line.
Materials:Â
Nichia: Yaham have been ranked top 10 customers in the world by Nichia from 2007 to 2009
Cree: Yaham is Cree’s strategic partner.
Equipment:
Automatic inserting machine imported from USA made by Universal Instruments Corp.
Speed: 21,000C/HLED will be Inserted on the PCBs according to the software control system.Â
Principle:
By using automatic LED inserting machine, all the LEDs will have a better stand up capability, which affects the LED display's performance a lot.
ESD protection:
All the operation have to be processed under ESD protection protocol.
Next step:
Wave Soldering

Wave soldering is the sixth step in the LED display module production line.
Instruments:Â
In-house designed Fixture: The PCB with through-hole components on top of the board and/or surface mount components glued on the bottom side are sometimes placed on a fixture for protection purpose. Yaham’s fixtures made from composed stone powder. In our production line, every PCB will be placed on a fixture before it go through the Wave Soldering machine. This technology not only for protection, but also ensures the leveling of the panel surface. Therefore, it affects the overall display performance of the LED display.
High-temperature proofed glue paper: used to protect the weld spot which should not be weld in the wave soldering machine.
Post soldering is the seventh step in the LED display module production line.
Materials:Â
Big IC: Macroblock(Taiwan)
Connectors: AMP(US), NuoLin(Taiwan)
Equipment:
Exhaust fan: used to prevent the expose of harmful gases.
Principle:
Since different components can be best assembled by different techniques, it is common to use two or more processes for a given PCB; the surface mounted parts may be reflow soldered, followed by a wave soldering process for the through-hole mounted components, with some of the bulkier parts hand-soldered on last.

Ultrasonic Cleaning is the eighth step in the LED display module production line.
Equipment:
Ultrasonic Cleaning Machine: The most appropriate cleaning solution to clean delicate items like jewelry and watch. Yaham use this technology to ensure the quality of led displays.
Principle:
Excess solder and unconsumed flux and residue is sometimes wiped from the soldering iron tip between joints which will be the last thing yaham led display want.

AOI testing is the ninth step in the LED display module production line.
Equipment:
Automated Optical Inspector: The most accurate defects inspection solution to LED display PCB modules.
Principle:
The AOI system can acquire millions of pixels in a fraction of a second. These data points are used for visual inspection and precision measurement.
What to do?
After led display modules have been assembed on the cabinet, Power supply and Fan will be installed along with the cabinet's back.
Yaham use TDKLambda(Japan) Power supply for its LED display products.
